Pi Phi Gives You Wings

Wednesday October 3rd was an exciting day for us Wisconsin Alpha Pi Phis, but most of all, it was an exciting day for our Vice President Philanthrophy, Emily Parkinson.    As the first annual event, it was a successful event thanks to her hard work.  For our fall Philanthropy, we sold tickets, about $7 each, to students to get a plate full of chicken wings, with their choice of sauce of course, a soda, and vegetables. As a sorority, we raised over $2,200 and sold about 300 tickets.  In addition, we had wing eating contests for an extra $3.  The winner, Jake Kream of Chi Phi, received gift cards to Starbucks, Kilwins, Ian’s, and the Kollege Klub. Overall, it was an amazing event, one we are so enthusiastic for continuing and very proud of our Emily Parkinson for starting it! Thanks to everyone who came! We’ll see you there next year :)
